Stick a circular self-adhesive canvas patch on both sides and let it dry. If the rupture is too large, use a speedy stitcher to sew the ends together and seal the seam with waterproof tape. Resealing after years of use never worked so well for me with Seam Sealer neither penetrating well nor sticking on the surface.
