WebDefinitions. 1 In this Act: "highway" includes all public streets, roads, ways, trails, lanes, bridges, trestles, ferry landings and approaches and any other public way; "land" includes land of every tenure and description, including foreshore and land covered with water, in British Columbia, and including land granted by Canada to a person.
