Web20 feb. 2024 · This sofa is technically “deep” at 40″. However, the back cushions are pretty thick and take up probably 6″ of seat room. Because of this, for us, it does sit a bit shallow- I like to slouch down when I watch TV and although there is enough room to slide my butt forward, an extra 2″ would be helpful! I am 5’8″, for reference.
