So a huge reason for high GPU costs is increasing cooler cost, PCB cost, VRM cost, shipping cost for large boxes etc. All of this can be eliminated by converting GPUs into a secondary motherboard where you plug in the VRAM sticks and replace the die like you do a CPU every time a new gen releases.
