WebJan 5, 2024 · The icon for the heated grips has started flashing slowly. If I go into the menu to set the level, all 5 blocks are solid and can't be changed but they are off. WebNov 11, 2024 · The problem is like on my bike, a 2024 non-tour, the seat is part of the design of the bike with red highlights matching the bike. I like the way the OEM seat looks I just want to add heat. In theory I can buy a seat heat kit like the "Heat Demon" mentioned above and wire it in. It is self contained.

WebDec 22, 2015 · Its an easy fix with some clean fork oil. First drop it to zero and shut off the bike. Remove your right side panel and loosen the right saddle bag to get to the preload compressor bolts. Once you get the compressor loose you can remove the banjo bolt and tie the hose upright so its fluid doesn't drain out. WebDec 12, 2012 · The only problem I see with them and its not a real problem is that the palms and underside of your fingers get toasty warm, even to hot if you turn them high enough. However the top of your hand and fingers remain much cooler. I put mirror wings on and that has helped a lot but the tops of my hands still get chilly.

If the main harness on the seat was not properly connected you'd have zero heat all the time so I'd bet it's the thermistor.
