WebOct 17, 2024 · I have a 17' Cascadia with DD15 and once had the exact same thing happen after a dpf cleaning. The truck went maybe 10 miles at 55 then derated to 5 mph. Had to get towed to Amarillo Freightliner shop . Shop informed me dpf sensor had failed probably due to dpf cleaning. Apparently Detroit doesn't recommend dpf cleaning only replacing filter. WebOct 30, 2024 · Driver side. Fuel filter housing. (NOT Water Fuel Separator). This is ON THE BLOCK on the driver side. When the engine is on you will see a green LED lit up that says DRAIN or OK. THAT is the sensor. Go get one, easy to replace. See attached file for ALL DD13/DD15/DD16 sensor locations aka The Sensor Bible.
