WebNov 27, 2024 · The core x fans spin whenever I connect the eGPU to my laptop, but the GPU fans dont turn on, and GPU never shows up in display adaptors in device manager. Core X however shows up in USB devices. I have been attempting to install thunderbolt drivers nonstop for the past two days, and am at my wits end. WebJul 6, 2024 · My current set up is with a Radeon RX 5700 XT, the 2024 MBP 13" is a four TB3 model, the laptop is connected via Razer's provided 0.7m passive- TB3 cable, the Core X CAT6 is wired directly to a Synology RT2600AC, the other USB devices connected (Magic Keyboard, Logitech mouse, Creative E5 DAC/AMP) all work without issue.

WebYou have to go to the Razer support site and download the Stealth updater and GPU switcher, as well as NVIDIA drivers for Core. Once you install all that, it'll work. Don_Garvey • 7 yr. ago When I plugged in the Core all that appeared in device manager was a "Base System Device". The Thunderbolt app reported no connected devices. Webmy bios settings are: Setup > advanced > SATA mode > ahci mode Bios > setup utility > advanced > thunderbolt (TM) configuration > discrete thunderbolt (TM) support: enabled Bios > administer secure boot > secure boot: disabled in the device manager (please refer to the attached screenshot) WebSep 21, 2024 · Also update your Intel Graphics and Chipset drivers to the latest. In laptops the Intel Graphics and Chipset must be the latest versions for the AMD driver to work correctly. But not sure if your PC is similar to a laptop in that respects or not.
