If thats loose or the O-ring is bad it will leak the same way. Try these things. 1) run the boat in the driveway on the hose and see if you get water in the bilge. The casting part numbers stamped on the pump are identical. These are approximately 50.00 at your local auto parts store. Swapping your original OEM reservoir is very simple and straightforward.
